Monday, May 4, is the Anniversary of Dedication of the Church of St. Catherine of Siena. We will have a Sung Mass at 5:15 PM at St. Catherine’s.

The Dominican Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer established a mission on 68th Street east of First Avenue in 1895, which was placed under the patronage of St. Catherine of Siena. The Priory of St. Catherine of Siena was made a formal, independent Dominican house in 1916. The present church was designed by Wilfrid Anthony, Bertram Goodhue’s assistant on the St. Vincent Ferrer project, and was completed in 1931.
