The Friars’ Shelf
Stemming from the important study in the Dominican charism, the Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Catherine of Siena will soon open The Friars’ Shelf. This will be a library where parishioners can sit and read, engage in conversations, and also check out books. We will announce the hours of operation soon, and we hope that this will be a helpful tool for our parishioners to encounter the Truth and grow in their union with the Lord and their understanding of His creation and His providence working through history.
Book
Donations
We would love to greatly build out our collection! To begin this process, we are inviting book donations from parishioners and friends. For these donations, we ask that you consider the following criteria:

We are looking for books about theology, philosophy, Church history, Christian culture, apologetics, children’s religious books, novels, and poetry with Christian themes, and classic novels and poetry.

We ask that the books be new or in good condition with little wear.

If you would like to make a donation to our library, please send us a list with the names of the books, their ISBN numbers, and (optionally) their estimated cost. This information will help us both catalog them more easily and give a tax return form for an in-kind donation.
The inclusion of donations in the library is at the discretion of Dominicans.
