The mission of the Shrine is to promote devotion to St. Vincent Ferrer and, in imitation of the life of St. Vincent Ferrer, to utilize preaching and the reception of the sacraments for the salvation of souls, in accord with the spiritual traditions of the Order of Preachers. It is meant to be a place for pilgrims to show their devotion to this saint known for his many miracles, especially through veneration of the first-class relics of the saint.

Each meeting begins with Mid-Morning Prayer (Terce) led by Fr. Francis, followed by the proclamation of the Sunday Gospel, a brief reflection, and an opportunity for questions. A period of voluntary sharing and discussion on the Gospel and its application to daily Christian life follows.

In observance of Labor Day, the Parish Offices will be closed on Monday, September 7. We will offer only two Low Masses in the Parish:

  • St. Catherine’s | 7 AM

  • St. Vincent’s | 9 AM

No Confessions will be heard.

While St. Catherine’s will stay open through the afternoon, St. Vincent’s will close at 11:30 AM.

Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage to DC

Join us for the 4th Annual Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage in Washington, DC, on Saturday, September 26.  This is a national pilgrimage celebrating the Rosary at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. This full-day event is hosted by the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph.

Our Parish’s Schola will offer an hour-long concert at 12:45 PM as part of the day’s devotions.

White Mass for Healthcare Workers at St. Catherine’s

Join us for the White Mass for Healthcare Workers on the Feast of St. Luke, at 10 AM on Sunday, October 18, at St. Catherine’s. This Mass is hosted by the Catholic Medical Association New York Metropolitan Guild and Dominican Healthcare Ministry. All physicians, nurses, medical students, and healthcare professionals are invited, as well as anyone who would like to pray for and with healthcare workers. 

Mass at St. Catherine’s will conclude with a prayer of consecration for healthcare workers and the opportunity to venerate the relic of St. Luke. A reception will follow.
